Congratulations to the four winning designs of The Galleries’ Parklet Design Challenge! These winning parklets will be constructed on the 1900 block of Race Street on Friday, September 21 to be the site for “network: Designing Green,” a public event beginning at 6pm focusing on Philadelphia’s urban design and green growth. Featured guest speakers include: Susan Weiler of OLIN, Bryan Hanes of Studio Bryan Hanes, Mary Seton Corboy of Greensgrow Farms, and Drew Becher of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. network is The Galleries’ series of networking events that bring together emerging designers and business and arts professionals to meet, exchange ideas, and make new connections.
The event is being held in conjunction with Parking Day Philadelphia.
